Beneath the Surface
The Nordic Print Festival will happen this April with an ambitious program celebrating contemporary printmaking across the Nordic region. Taking place from 11 to 18 April 2026, the festival unfolds across two venues on Funen: Filosoffen in Odense and SAK in Svendborg.
Bringing together 28 artists from across the Nordic and Baltic regions, the festival presents a dynamic program of exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, performances, and demonstrations. Participating countries include Sweden, Norway, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Finland, Greenland, Estonia, and Latvia.

in 2026 the Funen Printmaking Studio celebrates 50 years as a meeting point for graphic art on Funen. Since its founding in 1976, the workshop in Odense has been a dynamic and creative powerhouse for graphic designers, artists and art enthusiasts – a place where tradition and innovation meet in printing ink and the exchange of ideas.
The anniversary is marked throughout the year with an extensive program, culminating in February and again in the spring with a new Nordic Print Festival. Nordisk Grafik Festival in Svendborg and OdenseHere, artists from all over the Nordic region gather for exhibitions, workshops, events and a joint celebration of the many expressions of graphic art.
